Terms & Conditions
The term ‘8 Faces Limited’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owners of the website, whose company registration number is 07788056. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
All product prices are in Pounds Sterling (£GBP). Where possible we will indicate on our site an equivalent value in $USD but we will not be responsible for inaccuracies.
We charge VAT on all digital products to customers within the UK and the EU. If you are an EU business and have a valid VAT ID that you can provide using the appropriate form at the checkout, we can remove the VAT charge. VAT is never applied outside of the EU, or to VAT-exempt products such as physical books or physical magazines.
Our VAT number is 7032613.
To process customer payments, we use the e-commerce service Shopify, which has full PCI compliance. In order to collect payment we use the payment processing service Stripe, which also has full PCI compliance. 8 Faces Limited does not store any card information and all card processing is handled by these third parties; not by us directly. We do not use (or accept payments via) PayPal.
Digital orders are fulfilled immediately and downloadable files are usually available within a few minutes of the order being placed.
Physical orders can take up to a week to be dispatched, with the exception of pre-orders, which will be dispatched upon the product’s release, as stated on the product’s page on the website. Delivery times vary around the world, but we ship from the UK using Royal Mail for UK orders and air mail for international orders. Please allow up to six weeks for delivery and contact us on email@example.com if you still haven’t received your order after this period.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you want to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible. It may be that your order has already been dispatched so we are unable to stop it. We cannot guarantee to cancel items from an order. Cancellation requests must be logged by contacting us first and quoting your order number.
All items are guaranteed to be brand new and should reach you in perfect condition. We will only replace items that are defective, or sent in error. This is subject to you notifying us within five working days of receipt of the goods and giving a description of the damage / defect. Do not send items back without our permission. Report faulty items by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you return instructions.
Download purchases cannot be cancelled or refunded.
When you place an order to purchase an item from us, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order, as well as how to collect the item(s). Your order represents an offer to us to purchase an item, which is accepted by us when we send email confirmation that we’ve made that product available to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the order confirmation email to you. You will then be able to access links that will allow you to download your purchased files.
If you experience a problem when downloading material or encounter a broken link then please inform us immediately by emailing email@example.com, giving details of item, date and time, and any relevant order number you may have.
We shall make every effort to ensure that downloads which you have purchased are available for collection immediately or at any time within two working days of the date of purchase. However it is possible that at times of very heavy demand or in case of exceptional technical problems you may be requested to collect your file(s) at another time.
All our downloadable files are DRM-free. You can download as many copies as you like within the period of the link validity. However, the downloads will be licensed to you and are not for resale or distribution.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
